Quite a piece of work, really. Ben Affleck directs this stunning thriller based on real events, about the life-or-death covert operation to rescue six Americans, focusing on the little-known role that the CIA and Hollywood played—information that was not declassified until many years after the event. "Argo" moves you like good cinema should. Also has the best running joke in a film, ever.
