OUTRAGEOUS! New JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMS Trailer Released!
Jem and the Holograms was a colorful, campy ’80s cartoon revolving around Jerrica Benton and her alter ego Jem, who was the lead singer of an incredibly popular band called the Holograms.
And while the names are the same in the upcoming live-action adaptation, the camp factor has been seriously toned down in favor of a refreshingly emotional undercurrent, as you can see in the official international HD trailer below.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY; HOTEL- 3 questions and 5 recommendations
When i heard today that LADY GAGA was going to head up the cast of AMERICAN HORROR STORY'S fifth season ("Hotel"), 3 questions popped into my head:
1) WHAT ABOUT JESSICA?
I figured that the biggest news about AHS, aside from the series' title, would be the status of the show's amazing lead actress JESSICA LANGE. A definitive statement from the show's producers regarding her departure or continuing residence is still pending.
2) WHY LADY GAGA?
People who have come to adore the series know that they will be watching incredible work by some of the most talented actors ever assembled. And, granted, even though some of cast members weren't popular stars, they proved their worth through outstanding performances. Lady GaGa has yet to prove herself as an actress worthy of such a awesome gig like AHS. Let's hope that her acting coach is as good as her singing coach who helped her ace a performance at the 2015 OSCARS..
3) WHAT'S IN IT FOR HER?
Lady GaGa seems to be in it for artistic credibility and career advancement. it seems like she is trying to distance herself from the icky pop goop sticking to her past and "evolve" into some Hollywood-ready screen queen.
FINAL THOUGHT
If American Horror Story wanted to appeal to ratings over artistic excellence in it's inception, TATE would have been played by Justin Bieber for the series' debut season ("Murder House"). I wouldn't be surprised if Lady GAGA co-produced AHS: HOTEL (put $$ into the production) , securing a spot on the series the same way Katy Perry PAYED TO PLAY the Super Bowl Halftime show.
